Make a Difference

Your dollar goes further here than almost anywhere.

Every donation to LitBridge funds literacy programs in Southeast Travis County and Del Valle — where the need is greatest and every dollar is felt most directly. No overhead bloat. Just books, tutors, and kids who need them.

Why your donation works here

Del Valle ISD serves a predominantly Hispanic student body where over 80% qualify for free or reduced lunch. That's a proxy for the broader economic reality of the community — and a direct signal for where literacy intervention has the highest leverage.

When a child in Del Valle reads at grade level, they're statistically more likely to stay in school, graduate, and break the poverty cycle. That's the bet your donation is making.

LitBridge is pursuing 501(c)(3) status. All donations will be fully tax-deductible once that status is confirmed.

Common questions

Is my donation tax-deductible?
LitBridge is currently pursuing 501(c)(3) status. Once that status is confirmed by the IRS, your donation will be fully tax-deductible. We will issue receipts for all donations regardless of status.
How is the payment processed?
Payments are processed securely via Stripe. LitBridge does not store your card information — Stripe handles all payment security.
Where does my money actually go?
100% of your donation funds literacy programs — books, tutoring materials, volunteer training, and community programming. We keep overhead minimal so every dollar does the most good.
Can I give to a specific program or student?
At this stage, donations go into the general LitBridge program fund and are allocated where the need is highest. Contact us at hello@litbridge.polsia.app to discuss designated giving.
Can I set up a recurring gift?
Yes — during the payment flow you'll have the option to give monthly, which provides the most reliable funding for our programs. Contact us to set up an automated monthly donation.
Is there a minimum donation amount?
No minimum. Every gift matters. The smallest donation funds a book in someone's home — that's a permanent change.
